They were so cute together – and they are very much in love! We had a lot of fun taking pictures – even though it was FREEZING cold and super WINDY!! Yuck! But it was still a perfect day! Congratulations you two!
I’ve been getting really anxious for some nice hot weather so I was looking back at pictures from the summer. I realized that I hadn’t put any wedding pictures of Melanie and Cole yet. Theirs was the very first wedding that I did full-day coverage, so I was SUPER nervous. To start the day off I got dressed and realized that I couldn’t get my pants done up – I was just a few months pregnant, that real fun stage where nobody knows and you just look chubby. So, that was awesome. Then I looked outside – not good news!! It was pouring outside. And it continued to pour rain ALL day long! Not just a little drizzle here and there. To go along with the rain was a lovely hurricane type wind. So, we couldn’t even sneak outside at all for any pictures. I was definitely feeling the stress since I had planned for all of my pictures outdoors and was hours away from my studio. But everything turned out ok. Melanie and Cole both looked fantastic and we found some fun places to take pictures. And a few weeks later we got together to take some outdoor shots – which is what everyone had their heart set on. I’m so glad we decided to do a second try – we got some gorgeous pictures!! So thanks Mel and Cole for being patient with me and for letting me share your special day with you! You two are fantastic!

I met Melanie and Cole through my brother in law. They had their wedding photographer all lined up – and then found out that she was pregnant and that her due date was their wedding day. So, that led them to me! Yeah! Melanie and Cole are such a cute couple. They are both super nice and really fun to work with. We spent a few hours out at my in-laws farm (such a great place) taking some engagement pictures and getting to know each other a little bit better. We had a great time – and luckily we finished just as the wind and rain came rolling in! Stay tuned for some wedding pictures!
This was my first wedding shoot ever – and it was a great chance to practice some things and learn even more things. This is my cousin Troy and his lovely wife Janae – isn’t she the most beautiful bride ever?! And Troy is looking pretty top-notch too! Troy and Janae were the perfect models! They are such a fantasic couple! And they were so much fun to work with- and you can tell that they are so in love with each other. Congratulations again you two!
