About Kari

My love of photography began with the arrival of my little boy. I was ALWAYS taking pictures of him. I wanted to capture every new expression, every funny smile, every look that was unique to him. Now I LOVE to sit and look back at all of his pictures - I am always reminded of some little thing that I had forgotten. I love that about pictures, you can capture a moment forever!

I like pictures that are REAL, not awkward and forced. My favourite pictures of kids are the ones that show kids as they really are - pictures where they are being themselves - silly, shy, happy... maybe even a bit pouty! I love watching families interact with one another and I love capturing the special moments between them. I love taking pictures of brand new babies - tiny fingers and toes, soft wrinkly skin! I love all of the things that are unique and special to you - the things that make you, your kids, and your family who they are! These are the things I want to capture for you. I want to give you pictures that will help you forever remember the moments that are happening now!

Besides photography I love travelling, snowboarding, shopping, watching movies, being with friends, and spending time with my family. I am lucky to be married to my best friend Matt, who continues to love me and support me and my crazy ideas! I am lucky to have the most wonderful little boy - he is so much fun and I love that I get to spend my days at home with him. Life is great!!
